God is for me (And you).

Romans 8:38-39 New International Version (NIV)

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I read a devotion yesterday that spoke about how Christians react when things get really tough, when life doesn't make sense and when the promises of God seemed to have missed you. A few years ago I had one of those experiences there was a situation that was very close to my heart and I prayed that the outcome of the situation would be a positive one. It wasn't. In fact, the complete opposite happened. As I wrestled with God I began to doubt the promises in the Bible. Why would God leave me when I needed Him the most? Not long after my attention was drawn to this verse. A promise that God would be with me even when it didn't make sense. I still don't have the answer as to why the situation turned out the complete opposite of how I wanted it to. I may never know. But there is one thing I do know is that God didn't leave me, and there is nothing that can take me out of his hand.

Have a wonderful week and God bless you.
