I was asked by someone where the inspiration for my books come from and I thought I should answer that in a more in depth answer than the version I left on Good reads. Books have a way of taking a life of their own, my stories start as experiences I have had or things I have seen teenagers work through but by the end of the book the story has written itself and taken me a long for the ride. Even when my outline is complete, the stories I write end up in a different place and my characters experience different things than I originally thought they would.
