I am certain that like me, you have felt that the last six weeks have been a bit like climbing a mountain, the only way to push is up, there is no end in sight and man, is it tough on our faith muscles. As people we are social beings and having to spend so much time with ourselves is alarming and in some cases downright dangerous, I mean how many batches of cookies can we bake before we need to social distance from our waistbands? All jokes aside its times like these that our faith is tested when things are tough, life is messy, and normal seems like a distant memory.
This beautiful verse reminds what we should do in times like these.
Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
